We are getting more and more confident taking Akemi out and about. Last weekend we went out for my brother's belated birthday supper with my side of the family to a restaurant on Kingston road. There was a drunk there who was a bit scary, but Akemi did very well. No big fusses even though she made a deposit in her diapers.Then on Wednesday we went to a local Greek restaurant with her. The service was soo slow. I was getting nervous because it was coming up to her feeding time, but again we made it through with no big fusses.
Yesterday we went to Centre Island for a picnic with my company. When we were waiting at the ferry dock I was having my doubts. The crowds were making me claustrophobic, especially when the big masses funnel into the boarding gate. But Akemi faired well and we made it there and back with no problems!
