Adventures in Eating

We were one happy family this morning having breakfast when I look over at Akemi and noticed she had food all around her eye. I can only guess that she wanted a better look at what she was eating or that she was looking for cucumber slices and could only find cereal. Vanity at such a young age.

In the afternoon Silvina was trying a new food immersion technique. I wasn't there to witness it, but from the pictures I gather that you pour the food on the floor and rub the baby into it. That way whatever doesn't go in the mouth is absorbed through the skin. After the experience it looked like Akemi was poised to say her first real word! But alas, it was only a fart and she laughed at our foolishness.
