Today ends my solo stint with Akemi. We both had a great time.I took this picture yesterday at the Lakefront Park water area. We got there at 9am and the place was surrealistically empty. I looked at the sign and it said the water doesn't turn on until 10.
The park was in full Sun and even so early in the day the heat was punishing. We played in the playground sand for a while. The sand was beach white and felt like an exotic heat massage on my bare feet.
When the water came, it shot out from all different directions. I changed Akemi into her swim gear but she didn't want to get close to the sprays. She dabbled in the puddles a bit, but that was about it.
