Paddling on Lake Huron and Howling with the Wolves

The last couple of weeks we took some time off and went camping to the Pinery near Lake Huron and then to the Great Wolf Lodge in Niagara Falls.
At the Pinery we had two beautiful days and one rainy one.  All in all a good time at the beach, although I did get a bit sun-burnt.

At the Great Wolf Lodge, between the in-door water park and the MagiQuest game, Akemi did not want to leave - at all.  In the lobby they had nightly animatronics shows with talking trees, moose, racoons and bears. Following the show they had story-time with books from her favorite author - Robert Munch.  The storyteller was quite animated as well. Akemi had her own room with wolves all over the wall.  Unfortunately she was too scared in that room and ended up sleeping with us.
