Panic Attack

Akemi has some "interesting" characteristics. She found great enjoyment watching me bounce a small red ball in front of her. I bounced it to her, and she again had great fun. Then one time it rolled past her. She started screaming in terror! I thought maybe she was upset because she missed the ball, but no. It happened again when the ball was just rolling around on the floor.

By the way, she started daycare last week. She took to it well, at first. Today Silvina went to peek in at lunch time. Apparently when Akemi saw her she started screaming so Silvina had to take her home.

Yesterday we went to my folks place for supper. It was the first time my folks had all their kids and grandkids at the dinner table.

This is Akemi's cousin Risa. They live in Vancouver and it was the first time they came to Toronto since Akemi was born.
