Orange Peeling

I've been having trouble posting this video.  Hopefully it will work this time.  This is Akemi peeling a mikan.  The skin on normal oranges are too thick for her but these mikans are just right.

Skating and Swimming

Akemi started skating and swimming classes this week.  She got the skates from her Nona for Christmas.  Apparently she likes both classes, but after the swimming class she had a meltdown that made Silvina have a new respect for all parents.  I'll spare the details, but at the end of it Akemi was crying "I'm sorry mommy, it was all my fault".  I don't know where she got that from, but I thought it was cute.  Silvina probably not so much.  Both of these pictures were taken just before Christmas.
