Musical Recital

On Monday we went on a play date with her friend Rachel. Here are some videos of them drinking and dancing.

Girl in Red

I had some requests to hurry up and post some pictures of Akemi in the red dress she wore at a wedding last weekend. So here they are.

The wedding was for some kendo friends and was a bit formal. It ran until 10:30pm, but throughout it all Akemi as behaving brilliantly.

Lately Akemi has been enjoying bubble baths.

Early Christmas Cheer

We went to the Sherway mall today for an early visit with Santa. He told stories, sang songs and did magic. She seemed to have a good time.

Hair Dryer

Akemi's not too keen on getting her hair blow dried. She doesn't like the sound. She's getting more use to it every time however.

Happy Halloween

This was Akemi's second time out for Halloween and she went around like a veteran. She greeted each door with "Trick or Treat" and closed with "Thank you". Small talk is out of the question though. When the greeter tried to comment on her outfit, she just turned and went on her merry way.

Visit to a pumpkin patch

We went to a pumpkin patch near Hamilton on the weekend. They had a corn maze, mini-putt, wagon rides, and a bunch of other things, but the most impressive part for us was the pumpkin patch. I've near seen one before. Talk about a lot of pumpkins!

Thanksgiving at the Fair

We went to the Woodbine Fantasy Fair today. I took her there a couple of years ago, but at that time she could only go on the train ride and the ferris wheel. Today we went on most of the rides.

Happy Girl

Today Akemi went to a farm. Apparently she got to ride a horse and milk a cow.

Happy Birthday Bachan

Yesterday was my mom's 80th birthday, so we took her out for dinner. At first Akemi was being really fussy, but then she calmed down. She even sang happy birthday to bachan.

Trip to Centre Island

We rode the ferry to Centre Island last Sunday. It was overcast, which was great. I remember last year it was full Sun when we went to see the air show there. We were dying. This time was very comfortable - most of the time.

Silvina and Akemi went on all kinds of rides: rollercoaster, water slide, chair lift and others.



I got to play with my camera. Still getting used to my macro lens.

Done with Diapers!

Last weekend Akemi was pretty successful in using the peepee chair. Today she went to the daycare with no diapers and it seemed to work out well. No looking back now...we hope.
