Playtime Cut Short

Beautiful day today and we made the best of it. In the morning I took her on a tricycle ride and in the afternoon we all went to the play park. Pretty crowded there, but by shortly after 5 everyone was fleeing for their lives.

Off in the distance storm clouds were brewing, and then all of a sudden the winds through a tantrum that put Akemi to shame. Even the trees tried running away. I heard a crack and thought it was thunder, but it was the trunk of a large tree. Snapped like a fresh carrot. Silvina saw three trees go down. That called an end to playtime at the park.

Trip to Capital City

Easter weekend we took a road trip to Ottawa to escape our bathroom renovations and to meet up with some old friends. I wasn't looking forward to the drive, but it wasn't bad - we all held up better than expected.
